After a line of cypresses, you will discover "Ancora del Chianti", a converted farmhouse on a hilltop with a spectacular view, situated at 5km from Greve in Chianti between Florence (20km) and Siena (40km). This is the ideal base to explore Chianti area (medieval villages, farm and wine tasting) and Tuscany.
The buildings have been recently renovated in order to provide B&B accommodation as well as apartments for 2 and 4+1 persons. The garden among olive groves and vineyards is charming and quiet. Laura and Filippo, a young couple with a smiling dog, will be pleased to meet you at "Ancora del Chianti" with sincere enthusiasm. Filippo grows vines and olive trees, producing organic Chianti wine and olive oil. Laura welcomes guests and takes care of them during their stay. She prepares breakfasts in the morning with home baked cakes and provides evening meals with fixed menu 3 times a week. Prices vary from Euro 12.00-20.00 per person depending on menu and special menu on request for groups. We speak English, German, French, Spanish and Italian.
 

B&B accomodation consists of double bedrooms with private bathroom. Every room has private entrance and direct access to the garden. Continental breakfast is served every morning with home baked cakes indoor or on the terrace overlooking the garden during the season. Rates depend on the lenght of stay: the more you stay, the less you pay.

1 night Euro 85.00 / 2-3 nights Euro 75.00 per day
4-6 nights Euro 72.00 per day / 7 - nights Euro 68,00 per day
 

Self catering accomodation consists of "Malvasia", a studio for 2 people with double bed, table and chairs, separated kitchenette and bathroom. It has private entrance and direct access to the garden where you can dine or relax with outdoor furnitures on a private area.
For groups or families of 4+1 persons we can offer an extra double bedroom with private bathroom with connecting door to "Malvasia". Extra bed also available.

"Malvasia studio" (2 people): Euro 399.00 weekly rate including gas, electricity, water, linen and final cleaning. 10% discount on the 2nd week.
Extra double bedroom with private bathroom (2 people), Euro 371.00 per week ; Extra bed (1 person), Euro 70.00 per week
